Even in prison, Agradaa starts new church to keep preaching

Surprisingly, Agradaa opens prison church and continues her gospel mission from behind bars. Though sentenced to 15 years with hard labour, she hasn’t paused her spiritual pursuits. Nana Agradaa, now known as Evangelist Mama Pat, has launched a new ministry inside Nsawam Prison.
Reportedly, her husband, Angel Asiamah, revealed this revelation to his congregation. During a sermon at Heaven Way Church on August 3, he announced that his wife now leads a church from within her prison cell. According to him, she holds regular sessions, preaches to inmates, and has grown a congregation behind bars.
This development adds another layer to Agradaa’s complicated public story. Once a controversial fetish priestess, she transitioned into Christian evangelism. However, in 2022, she was convicted of defrauding followers in a money-doubling scam and jailed for 15 years.
Despite that downfall, her passion for preaching appears undiminished. From TV screens to courtrooms and now the prison pulpit, Agradaa’s journey defies expectations at every turn.
Many believed her public influence would end with her conviction. Instead, she has reinvented herself once again—this time as a prison preacher.
Love her or loathe her, Agradaa continues to stir headlines. And clearly, even in confinement, she still believes her mission must go on.
Her transformation leaves one lingering question—can redemption truly rise from the ruins of controversy?
