Bryan Acheampong Files Nomination for NPP Flagbearer
Dr. Bryan Acheampong files nomination, promising unity and constructive action. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) hopeful officially submitted his papers in Accra. Therefore, he seeks to lead the party as its flagbearer. A large crowd of supporters joined him on Wednesday, August 27. Mr. Acheampong expressed great confidence in his mission. Indeed, he also shared a strong desire to serve both party and country. On the one hand, his decision to contest stems from a deep sense of duty. On the other hand, he feels fully prepared to lead the nation.
“I share this exciting news with you with clarity in my mind, energy in my body, and duty in my spirit. I speak as a servant ready to offer myself fully once again for party, for country, for a future that must belong to all of us,” he stated.
Furthermore, Dr. Acheampong shared his personal journey with the crowd. He comes from very humble beginnings. Consequently, his background shaped his core values. He has since built reputable businesses and a political career. He noted his extensive experience in both private and public service. This experience, he believes, has prepared him for the responsibilities ahead. For example, he understands what it means to build from the ground up. He also knows the weight of leadership. Finally, he knows how a single opportunity can transform a family’s future.
Having served Ghana faithfully for years, he sees a path forward. Accordingly, his journey through the party ranks gave him unique insight. For this reason, he understands the nation’s immense potential. In fact, he truly believes in the potential of Ghana’s people. He has been a grassroots activist, a politician, and a policymaker. Ultimately, Dr. Bryan Acheampong files nomination after this long history of service. He wants his supporters to avoid negative personal attacks. Such behavior, he warned, could harm the party’s unity.
“My supporters from north to south, east to west must shy away from comments and commentaries that smear individuals and ultimately affect the fortunes of our party,” he cautioned. “I come to unite, I come to build, I come to lead with conviction, and I come to win power for the NPP.”
In conclusion, he thanked all those who supported him. He noted some individuals traveled very long distances. Their solidarity deeply moved him. He ended his remarks with a bold announcement. “In November, I shall launch my campaign.” He promises a major, all-inclusive campaign. “It will be the NPP’s campaign — a big campaign — and we will fight, and we will win.” Dr. Acheampong joins several others. These prominent figures also want to lead the NPP. By all means, they are all vying for the 2028 general elections.
