Disgraceful neglect: Kennedy Agyapong slams NPP over job extortion claims

Kennedy Agyapong slams NPP for ignoring grassroots supporters and demanding money for jobs after they fought to win elections.

Kennedy Agyapong slams NPP leaders for turning their backs on party foot soldiers who brought them victory.

During an explosive interview with Kwesi Pratt on Pan African TV, the former Assin Central MP voiced his anger. He accused the party of demanding money from job-seeking supporters after campaigning tirelessly for their success.

“These people sacrificed their lives to make you who you are,” Agyapong said. “And you repay them with humiliation?”

He recalled speaking to a former MP who lost his seat. The MP confessed that young men refused to vote, saying, “We’re not voting because they charged us for jobs.”

Agyapong believes this attitude has eroded loyalty and voter turnout. He says the leadership failed the base—and now the cracks are showing.

Online reactions have been intense. Many supporters echoed his concerns, calling for immediate change in how the party treats its own.

According to Agyapong, real appreciation goes beyond slogans. It involves action, fairness, and opportunities for the loyal.

He called on NPP leaders to rethink their approach before the next elections.

“When people lose trust,” he warned, “they stop fighting for you.”

His message wasn’t just criticism—it was a challenge.

Fix the party—or lose its soul.
