Zanetor, Dafeamekpor, Annoh-Dompreh sworn in as Ghana’s reps to Pan-African Parliament

Zanetor, Dafeamekpor, Annoh-Dompreh took the oath as Ghana’s newest Pan-African Parliament members. They officially joined during the Fifth Ordinary Session in Midrand, South Africa.
The ceremony ran from July 16 to August 1, 2025. Ghana renewed its legislative commitment across the African continent. The team now represents Ghana’s interests within the African Union’s parliamentary structure.
South Dayi MP Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor brings legal depth to the team. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, MP for Klottey-Korle, adds public health and environmental expertise. Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP Frank Annoh-Dompreh strengthens the team with solid parliamentary experience.

Now, they will engage other African lawmakers on critical issues. These include regional trade, climate adaptation, peacebuilding, and youth development.
Each member plays a unique role in Ghana’s continental strategy. Dafeamekpor will drive legal debates. Zanetor will push for sustainability and public health. Annoh-Dompreh will help modernize legislative structures across PAP.
Clearly, Ghana selected a well-rounded team with both political clout and policy depth.
Stakeholders across Africa welcomed the new delegation. Many praised Ghana’s consistent dedication to AU reforms and democratic governance.
The Pan-African Parliament serves as the legislative voice of Africa. It fosters unity, influences AU decisions, and shapes the continent’s future under Agenda 2063.
Since 2004, Ghana has engaged PAP through strong parliamentary representation. Ghana’s delegates have influenced reforms, led committees, and defended continental equity.
