Mrs. Ghartey questioned the high number of excavators imported into Ghana. She referenced a recent media report. That report said Ghana imports the highest number in West Africa. Furthermore, it claimed Ghana imports the second-highest number in all of Africa. Therefore, she questioned what thriving business in Ghana could require such a huge number of excavators.
