Is Shatta Wale an EOCO Target? Paul Yandoh Speaks
An NPP regional executive, Paul Yandoh, has made serious allegations against the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). First of all, he claims a personal vendetta fuels Shatta Wale’s current troubles. Yandoh alleges that EOCO boss Raymond Archer supports Stonebwoy. In fact, Stonebwoy is Shatta Wale’s long-time rival. This allegiance, he argues, could be the reason behind the deliberate attempts to frustrate the star. Consequently, this alleged favoritism makes Shatta Wale an EOCO target.
Speaking on Wontumi FM, Yandoh expressed his frustration. He stated that Shatta Wale has worked hard to build his brand. The NPP executive then asked why anyone would try to disgrace him. Yandoh insists the agency’s actions are unfair. He stressed that people with international fame should not face such frustrations. Furthermore, he stated the government should not use its power to target such individuals. The Shatta Wale EOCO target narrative, therefore, is a serious political claim.
Additionally, Yandoh referenced some recent developments. For instance, he brought up the GH¢50 million bail condition for Chairman Wontumi. He noted that officials ignored even parliamentarians’ concerns. As a result, he worries the same approach is now being used against influential figures. The ongoing legal battles have, therefore, dominated national conversations. His fans and industry players are, moreover, divided on the matter. Many people are questioning the motives behind the investigation. Ultimately, they are concerned about the government’s approach. This Shatta Wale EOCO target claim adds a new dimension to the controversy.
